PRINTING PRESS
Printing Production Processes

Books, magazines, brochures, catalogues and other printed publications remain among the most powerful mediums for communicating information, expressing corporate identity and delivering compelling visual narratives. Beyond the content itself, print quality, paper selection and finishing details are equally important in determining the overall impact of these publications.

  • REEL-TO-SHEET CUTTING

Reel-to-sheet cutting is one of the first and most critical preparation stages in the production process. During this stage, material supplied in reel form is cut with high precision to the specified width and length, preparing it for subsequent production operations. At Promat, reel-to-sheet cutting is carried out under controlled conditions and in accordance with established standards to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface integrity and process continuity.

  • OFFSET PRINTING

Sheet-fed offset printing provides a high-performance production platform for projects requiring precise colour management and consistent surface quality.

From pre-press preparation and machine set-up to colour control and final inspection, every stage is managed in accordance with defined standards and a measurable approach to quality.

Promat has the production capability to maintain print consistency, colour stability and operational reliability even across high-volume sheet-fed offset printing projects.

  • THREAD SEWING

Thread sewing is a robust binding method that enhances durability and longevity in multi-page publications. Individual sections are sewn together in accordance with the spine structure, creating a binding that is both strong and visually refined. Promat delivers structurally reliable thread-sewn solutions, particularly for publications designed for frequent and long-term use.

  • WIRE STITCHING

Wire stitching is a classic and efficient binding method that offers both practicality and a clean, consistent finish. Pages are secured along the spine with metal wire, providing a functional binding solution for magazines, catalogues, brochures and similar printed materials. At Promat, this process is carried out within a controlled production environment designed to ensure speed, consistency and print quality.

  • FOLDING

Folding is a precise process that prepares printed sheets for their final format and intended use. Accurate folds are essential to maintaining correct page sequence and ensuring that the finished product takes shape flawlessly. Consistent and precisely controlled folding also plays a critical role in the success of subsequent binding and assembly processes.

  • COVER ATTACHMENT

Cover attachment is an important production stage in which the inner book block and outer cover are brought together, giving the publication its final character. The cover is precisely aligned and securely joined with the inner pages to achieve both aesthetic and functional integrity. At Promat, particular attention is given to maintaining visual balance and structural durability throughout this process.

  • SHRINK WRAPPING

Shrink wrapping is an effective packaging method used to protect finished products from external factors and prepare them for organised shipment. Products are wrapped in transparent heat-shrink film, helping protect them against dust, handling and the risk of becoming separated or scattered. At Promat, shrink wrapping provides an additional layer of protection and order prior to delivery.
